Getting ready for our exhibit!!!

There were many wonderful paintings and friendships created in one week! What a successful week it was!

Collioure on the Med and Painting demos in the park

It is getting late after 2 full days painting!!!! This will be short but full of pics, I hope!

  We have arrived and the fun has begun. 

We are painting some 'surprise' backgrounds to get loose!

Lots of playing and experimenting and creativity going on here!

What a fun and creative group! Can't wait to see what happens to these backgrounds! Stay tuned for some results. 

Laroquettes Painting in Laroque

 

We painted the town alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, quinacridone gold and more! We met more local artists including Hugo, a 10 year old who showed us his portfolio. We invited more people to come to our exhibit on Friday  and we bought art from local artists! Another wonderful day!

Wonderful Day in Ceret

We experienced a bus ride to beautiful Ceret where so many famous artists painted! We visited the Modern Art Museum and sketched and ate lunch.

Final Planning Meeting for our trip! Woohoo!

MThank you, Linda for hosting us in your beautiful home! Our trip is only 18 days away. Plans are coming together with the help of Francoise!  All our practicing will pay off as we dive right in to sketch and paint Laroquette and other places. We are looking forward to seeing Eliane and the other artists we met last year!  

Here we are laughing, eating, bonding making music with our noses and sleeping(?). Look out Francoise! Here we come!!!!
