1. A bright light was shining in the sky!!!! And it lasted ALL day!!!!
2. It was eerily quiet on our street. No morning traffic. No trucks turning into the Norman Factory across the street. No one even walking about at 9 am. Is it a holiday today? I know it is Veterans Day at home. (Thank you to all VETS out there!!!)
Today we head out for Rennes to find the art supply store that we have been hearing about. We thought we'd stop by a few castles on our way. One was closed but they very nicely left the gate open so we could take some pics. Another one, I guess it moved because we never did find it! We did drive onto a road to a farm and got scolded by a cow and greeted by a sleeping dog. But still not a person in sight! Where was everyone? Home celebrating the sun?
We found the art supply store and we each got a handful of things we "needed", stopped for lunch and returned to Dinan to find it FULL of visitors! That's more like it. Next on the agenda, paint and bike, drink tea, paint some more, repeat. Ron will be here next week and he is going to love it, I hope!!!
